Council appoints two probationary police officers

PA ELIZABETHTOWN — Elizabethtown Council appoints two probationary officers. The borough council unanimously approved the appointment of Austin L. Waters and Zachary M.
Brommer as non-certified probationary police officers effective September 28, 2026. Both will attend Harrisburg Area Community College Municipal Police Academy beginning January 2027 and are eligible for full-time appointment upon graduation around June 2027. The council also unanimously approved Ordinance 1032 modifying parking restrictions on East High Street and voted to advertise a draft ordinance on snow emergency routes for action at or after September 3.
