Council approves 10-unit apartment building on Market Street

PA ELIZABETHTOWN — Council approves 10-unit apartment at 502 S Market Street. Elizabethtown Borough Council unanimously approved conditional use status for Inch's Properties, LLC to develop an apartment building in the R-3 High-Density Residential Zoning District, with conditions including posting property manager contact information and emergency services signage. The meeting featured sustained public comment on a proposed memorandum of understanding between the borough and U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement, with residents divided on the issue. Mayor Phil Clark said he attended an Ice Out police protest in support of officers. Council unanimously appointed Kristy Moore to the Elizabethtown Area Community Services Authority and approved a $144,485 payment to Wexcon Inc. for sewer improvements.
