Council awards $74,979 concrete repair bid, directs park improvements

PA ELIZABETHTOWN — Elizabethtown Borough Council awards $74,979 concrete repair bid, directs grant applications. At its February 19 meeting, Council unanimously approved the 2026 Concrete Repair Project bid to SM Johns & Sons Construction, LLC. Council prioritized a C2P2 Park Grant Application focused on Area 5 improvements behind the Elizabethtown Mennonite Church and parking at Ken Lane and South Mount Joy Street, including pickleball courts, new equipment, and pavilion improvements.

Council directed staff to prepare Community Development Block Grant applications for ADA ramps on Washington and Park Streets and stormwater facility improvements on South Poplar Street. Monthly bills totaling $766,899.03 were unanimously approved.
