Council rejects 2026 bridge maintenance bid

PA ELIZABETHTOWN — Elizabethtown Borough Council unanimously rejects bridge maintenance bid, approves church land waiver. Council also unanimously denied the EAWA Board's request to revise board composition via Resolution 2026-13. Council President Winterborne and Vice President McCloud were unanimously designated to represent the borough during a Letterkenny, Ireland trip from July 8 through July 14.
Borough Manager Ann Roda reported on long-range Waste Water Treatment Plant upgrades at Oak Manor pump station and Poplar Street sewer improvements. Council rejected the sole bid submitted for the 2026 Bridge Maintenance Project.
