Planning Commission backs two infrastructure grant applications

PA ELIZABETHTOWN — The Elizabethtown Planning Commission unanimously approved letters of support for two infrastructure grant applications totaling $400,000. Assistant Borough Manager Pamela Roberts explained the borough seeks $200,000 for Americans with Disabilities Act ramp improvements along East Washington, East Park, and East Bainbridge Streets affecting approximately 44 ramps, and $200,000 to complete sanitary and storm sewer work on South Poplar Street including 25 new service laterals. The five-member commission also unanimously accepted the High Street Apartments Preliminary/Final Land Development Plan for formal review.
